Mayans in the Jungle

This is Coba, the second largest mayan ruins in the area of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Located off the coast into a jungle of long thin canopy, this is a must visit when staying in Tulum.
It took us a little over an hour to reach the site, from Tulum. An easy and straight forward drive down the one and obly road :)
Here we saw their Astrological centre, the tall pyramid of Nohoch Mul which we were allowed to climb (Milly and I have a small issue with heights so limited our selves to 5 steps) and the Iglesia. Overall a very special place, make sure you head there early in the morning before it gets swamped with tourist, also we headed over on an overcast day, which saved us from the scorching humidity of the place!
